What is Restylane® Lyft?

As we age, the natural fat surrounding the cheeks begins to deteriorate, causing a substantial loss of volume, sagging skin and prominent wrinkles. When this occurs, Restylane Lyft can artfully restore youthful fullness to the cheeks and fill in smile lines, achieving a smooth and contoured overall look.

Restylane Lyft is a cosmetic dermal filler made from non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (NASHA) gel, which can non-surgically restore youthfulness and volume to the face. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that exists naturally in the human body. It is for this reason that allergy testing is not required prior to having perlane injections. Restylane Lyft is made by the same company who makes Restylane, and the only difference between Restylane and Restylane Lyft is that Restylane Lyft utilizes larger gel particles and is therefore intended to be injected deeper into the skin.

Restylane Lyft is approved by the FDA for the treatment of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.

Am I a Candidate for Restylane® Lyft?

Even though wrinkling is a normal side effect of aging, it’s likely that it isn’t a welcome one. As your skin loses the important chemicals that give it its structure and volume, you’ll likely find that you look much older, and that may not be something you appreciate.

If you’re looking to counteract these side effects of aging, then Restylane Lyft could be the perfect solution for you. This safe, FDA-approved dermal filler can provide you with a highly effective way of managing your aging concerns. If you are in good general health and are looking for the following things, then you could be a perfect candidate for this filler.

How does Restylane® Lyft Work?

Restylane Lyft is composed of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the skin’s dermis. As we grow older and our skin is exposed to smoke, the sun and other damaging elements, the hyaluronic acid breaks down, causing the skin to lose volume. Restylane Lyft replenishes the skin by temporarily restoring the lost hyaluronic acid, plumping hollow areas on the face and smoothing wrinkles and smile lines.

What Can I Expect from Restylane® Lyft Session?

Usually numbing cream or numbing injections are used, depending on patient preference. So, you may need to wait for the numbing to take effect. Results are fairly immediate and no downtime is required. Most people experience a little swelling or redness for a few hours afterward. In some, minor redness, swelling or bruising can last for several days or even up to a week, though it’s our experience that this is rare.

Does Restylane® Lyft has Side Effects?

The most common side effects with Restylane Lyft include tenderness, redness, swelling and bruising at the injection sites. These are expected to improve within a week. We do our best to minimize bruising during the treatment and will always apply arnica, ice and send you home with specific post care instructions to expedite your healing.

Patients that experience sudden pain or persistent issues at the site of injection are advised to seek immediate medical attention to prevent further complication.

How long Restylane® Lyft Last?

The results obtained with the initial treatment with Restylane Lyft will be immediately noticeable right after the procedure and can last for 12 months. We like to have our filler patients to return to the office for follow up at two weeks to one month.

How Much Does Restylane® Lyft Cost?

The cost of Restylane® Lyft will depend on each patient and their particular needs. All costs will be discussed during your personal consultation.
