What is VulvaLase?

VulvaLase is a laser treatment to help improve the appearance and form of vulva, labia majora and minora of female genitals. VulvaLase is a laser treatment that includes multiple modes of laser energy to help improve the appearance of the vulva and vagina.

Vulvar laxity is common as the aging process reduces the amount of collagen in the dermal and subdermal skin of genital area. This creates an appearance of sagging skin as well as reduced tone and texture of the vulva, labia majora and minora. This loose appearance of the surrounding skin can also be worsened with loss of fat volume in the subdermal tissue that surrounds the vulva. The loose appearance and deflated appearance of vulva can create an undesired appearance of genitals and in some cases may create pain and discomfort during intercourse. VulvaLase addresses the problem of laxity by simulating collagen in the skin surrounding labias and perineum. by utilizing different laser wavelengths and pulse modes we are able to create a dramatic improvement in the appearance of vulva. The effects can be enhanced by placement of dermal fillers and threads to increase the volume of the lips as well as reduce deflated appearance of the vulvar labia. VulvaLase may produce mild improvements in the appearance of labia minora and majora however is not a substitute for labiaplasty procedure for severely enlarged labia minora or majora.

Does VulvaLase genital rejuvenation have downtime ?

Depending on the specific needs treatment can be done customized to each patient. If ablative passes required there may be couple days downtime.

There is no pain during the vaginal rejuvenation with VulvaLase with topical anesthesia during procedure. There is a mild heat sensation during the treatment of vulva, lips and introitus area which is very tolerable.

When can i expect to see, feel my results after VulvaLase rejuvenation procedure ?

Most patients will start noticing improvement in 3-4 weeks. Increased lubrication and moisture right after their treatment within the first week. Full tightening effect usually starts to occur after 4 weeks.

How often do i need VulvaLase vaginal rejuvenation treatments ?

Usual treatment schedule is every 3-4 weeks for 3 sessions. Depending on the amount of laxity in the skin some patients may need additional treatments. We recommend completing the full 3 treatment sessions in order to experience longer lasting results.

How long is VulvaLase vaginal rejuvenation treatment?

VulvaLase treatments usually take 15-25 minutes to perform depending on the contidition of the tissue of the vulvar skin.

How long will my results from VulvaLase last ?

Results of your treatment will usually last between 8 months to 18 months depending on your age, overall condition of your skin and general health
